We shall be open as part of the Open Jardins/Gardens Ouverts scheme (see https://www.opengardens.eu/ for more info – essentially a scheme to open gardens to raise money for charities)
Le Jardin de la Petite Pépiniere has been part of this scheme for the first time this year and will be open again on Sunday 24th September from 10am until 6pm, to raise money for OJ/GO
We’ll hope to see a few of you, unless it rains soon we can commiserate with each other about the state of our gardens after yet another hot, dry summer and, more importantly, look at what plants really do survive the difficult conditions associated with gardening in the Languedoc/Occitanie. We will also be taking this opportunity to have a “vide serre”; in exchange for a donation to our local charity Languedoc Solidarité avec les Réfugiés we’ll be giving away surplus plants from our own planting schemes, experiments etc this year – NB none of these will be the type of plants that Imogen & Kate are selling next door but odds and sods of our own
Imogen and Kate will also be open during the afternoon of the 24th as part of OJ/GO to give you a chance to see the considerable progress that they have made with their garden and nursery.
